The LoreKeepers Project

This project aimed to preserve local culture by collecting and recording lore found within the community.

Facts & Figures

• Over a thousand pieces of lore were collected and digitally archived.
• 800+ pieces of lore from Delit/Tribal communities were collected, documented and presented at the Kerala State Youth Festival.
• 2500+ individuals from seven districts in Kerala participated in the project.
• 600+ students from 160 schools contributed to the archiving process.
• 5,700,000+ individuals learned about the Lore project from 31 articles in print and online media in 3 languages.
• 735,000+ international viewers and 24,000+ Instagram followers were gained.
