The Reach Project, Chelembra
The goal of Chelembra Panchayat REACH project is to reduce the prevalence of anaemia among local women by 50%, while enhancing overall community health and well-being. The multifaceted strategy includes a screening initiative, awareness campaigns, capacity building and agricultural interventions, as well as education around nutritional supplements and lifestyle changes. Other essential components of the project include regular monitoring, follow-up screenings and a comprehensive sustainability plan.
The Anemia Screening sessions were conducted for women in reproductive age. The goal is early detection and intervention, while promoting a culture of preventive healthcare through practices like routine health checks, along with attention to personal health.
